Meet Meelie Bordoloi

Psychiatrist

Hey there, I'm Meelie!

“Self-awareness is the only way we can access the emotional brain on a conscious level.”

I am professionally experienced both domestically and internationally. As I have treated patients in multiple countries, I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive care.

I have a passion for serving my patients and the community. I love working with teenagers, young adults, and small children. Medication interventions can be scary, especially for little ones, and I am here to help ease these concerns. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and ADHD-related issues. While I can prescribe medicine, I also know that it is not a cure all. I realize that treatment is integrative; the best treatment combines lifestyle changes, meditation, medications, and therapy.

I come from a family of doctors and grew up in the state of Assam in India. Aside from providing patient care, I have been a performing artist since the age of 4, having learnt different forms of dance over the years and performing in different countries. Nowadays, when I am not busy treating patients or raising my kids, I enjoy being a Bollywood dance instructor!
