Meet Jemika Gardner

Hi! My name's Jemika Gardner and I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker. I earned my degree from the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!).

As a Clinical Therapist. my passion is working with kids, teens, college students, and emerging professionals treating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, anger issues, oppositional defiant disorder, self-esteem, women's issues, and grief and loss. Additional areas of interest include postpartum and borderline personality disorder. My treatment style is a combination of CBT, DBT, CPT, play therapy, person-centered therapy.

I am originally from the Chicago area. I am the oldest of 4 and my family is super important to me so I like to travel home to visit as often as possible. I am a dog mom to my sweet shih tzu Belle (I refuse to admit how spoiled she is). When I am not working I am usually crafting, reading, re-watching shows I've seen a billion times, or hanging out with friends and family.
