Hi! My name's Jemika Gardner and I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker. I earned my degree from the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!).
As a Clinical Therapist. my passion is working with kids, teens, college students, and emerging professionals treating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, anger issues, oppositional defiant disorder, self-esteem, women's issues, and grief and loss. Additional areas of interest include postpartum and borderline personality disorder. My treatment style is a combination of CBT, DBT, CPT, play therapy, person-centered therapy.
I am originally from the Chicago area. I am the oldest of 4 and my family is super important to me so I like to travel home to visit as often as possible. I am a dog mom to my sweet shih tzu Belle (I refuse to admit how spoiled she is). When I am not working I am usually crafting, reading, re-watching shows I've seen a billion times, or hanging out with friends and family.

Hi! My name's Rebecca Nobles-Jackson. Starting the journey of healing can feel daunting, my goal is to meet you where you are and work with you to get you where you want to be. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and safe environment that promotes deeper exploration and understanding of one’s emotional experiences. I provide services through a person centered lens that also encompasses self acceptance, equity and health at every size. My goal is to create a space of racial, gender, and size equity. I am trained in providing in depth services to people struggling with a number mental illnesses. I am also trained to work with clients at any point in the intersections of oppression and my services are LGBQTIA+ affirming. My hope is that the knowledge and tools clients gain in therapy will facilitate continued growth and development after therapy is completed.
I believe my success with such diverse clients stems directly from my ability to deeply understand my clients’ perspectives and needs. I strive to precisely personalize evidence-based approaches to my clients specific situation(s). I recognize that each client’s unique situation calls for a vastly different therapeutic approach. No matter the client’s goals, I always join them in a compassionate, non-judgmental partnership to help my clients achieve their goals and move forward in their lives how they choose. As an ADHD Coach, Stephanie is here to help you harness your strengths, learn effective strategies, and implement realisitic concrete approaches to ensure you ato has personal and professional experience supporting adolescents with ADHD. In the coming months, she will be completing additional training to become a Certified ADHD Coach. Stephanie will be providing a combination of in-person and virtual appointments. Stephanie loves working with college students, young professionals, and adults. Stephanie will is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 7 pm.

Stephanie, who is a Certified ADHD Educator, is also a graduate student in Central Methodist University’s Master of Science in Clinical Counseling program and anticipates graduating in May 2022. She plans to continue her education and earn a doctoral degree. Stephanie is also a former High School English teacher and has an innate ardor for learning and educational growth.
Additionally, Stephanie is also interested in career counseling as a specialty. "It is my hope to work with clients in finding their passions, unlocking their full potential, and reaching peak performance. Women often feel overwhelmed by wearing many hats and may overlook the impact that areas such as vocation have on general satisfaction. I would love to work with these clients who struggle with diminished enthusiasm or find it challenging to focus on what fuels their inner fire."

Education & Experience:
LeAnn attended undergrad at Missouri State University (Go Bears!) and graduated in 2015 with a BS in dietetics. She attended grad school at Fontbonne University (St. Louis, MO) and received a MA in Multidisciplinary Health Communication Studies.
After completing her graduate degree, she spent two years working at a maximum-security psychiatric facility working with individuals who had schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, etc. She worked with these patients in regard to meal plans and medication interactions. Her primary role was to help with weight management. She has gone on to work at the University Hospital in outpatient at the Weight Management and Metabolic Institute as well as covered the outpatient neuro and general health clinic.

I have lived in Columbia for the last four years. I grew up in central Missouri, so I was excited to come back home! I have a dog named Maggie who I adore. I recently started a blog/website called The Realistic Eats (check it out at therealisticeats.com). I enjoy going to hot yoga, biking on the MKT, red wine while cooking, and going for daily walks!

Together, you will identify meals YOU would love to learn how to make at home. You might choose meals which are less complex and fast to pull together such as pasta, tacos, fish, burgers or steak. OR you might choose slightly more complex meals which take a little more time such as ham, roast, duck, or ribs. Regardless, by the end you will have created a fantastic meal you can be proud of!
